Youth and Student Worker: Ruth East
Ruth was born in Lancashire and went to school in Bolton. She started work at EHD in 2005. Ruth completed a degree of Youth and Community Work at Oxford Brookes University, while working as a youth worker at St Marys Church Princes Risborough, Bucks.
Ruth really enjoys working with young people and students, helping them journey with God.
In her own time she likes cinema trips, music, gigging and generally hanging out with mates.

Church Stewards
As well as the Ministerial Team we have a team of 8 Church Stewards and 1 Youth Steward.
Stewards are appointed for 4 years (1 year for the Youth Steward).
This year’s Senior Stewards are Janet Ward and Alan Kershaw.
As well as looking after the practical details of putting on the Sunday services, the Stewards in partnership with the Ministerial Team are responsible for the spiritual leadership in the Church.
Why not become a Steward yourself? It is a challenging role and carries a burden of responsibility to the whole church family. However, it is also very rewarding.
If you are interested, please speak to one of the stewards to find out more.
